Hi! I’m Aspen — Jesus follower, wife, dog momma, biochemist & functional nutritionist.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to help people feel better. My fascination with botanical medicine and nutrition began early—I would raid my mother’s pantry for herbs and spices, carefully mixing “medicine” for my baby dolls. While we were conscious and proactive about our health, we lacked a complete and balanced diet. I grew up in a family that was interested in alternative healthcare but fundamentally lacked a foundational understanding of nutrition.   

My personal journey with functional nutrition deepened in middle school when I began struggling with painful and irregular periods, mood swings, acne, and intense cravings. Years later, I was diagnosed with type III endometriosis. Searching for relief, I saw the full spectrum of providers—medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, naturopathic doctors—you name it, I probably saw them. Yet, despite all of these efforts, my symptoms persisted.

Everything changed when I started working with a functional nutritionist in high school. For the first time, someone took the time to educate me about my hormonal imbalances and, most importantly, showed me how to nourish my body. The transformation I experienced ignited a passion within me to help others find the same clarity, healing, and empowerment that I had discovered. That journey is what led me to pursue a career in nutrition and functional medicine—where science, compassion, and healing intersect.

My goal in life is to bring hope, healing, and restoration to my community: mentally, physically, emotionally & spiritually. I plan to do this by helping women get to the root cause of their symptoms through a functional approach to nutrition, lifestyle, environment, advanced lab interpretation, & targeted supplementation, all from the comfort of their own home through a secure telehealth platform.

I specialize in chronic conditions of all kinds, including autoimmune diseases, hormone imbalances & women’s health issues, infertility, preconception & pregnancy, gastrointestinal imbalances, and unexplained symptoms.
